The flag of Saudi Arabia has been used since March 15,1973. It was designed by Havez Wahba, who was ambassador of Saudi government in Egypt in reign the king AbdAlaziz. Before 1973, the flag had been painted green color and in the middle of it crescent . In 1973, it was changed into its form that has been used until now. Today, It is a green, and it includes holy Islamic inscription and Arabic sword which features under this expression. They are white, and they have a great meaning in the Islamic and Arabic nation. In indeed, the expression means "There is no god except Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet", and also the sword refers to the importance of strength. Saudi Arabia’s flag occupies a great importance in hearts of Islamic people because it carries the significant expression in Islamic religion. In addition, it considers the only flag which is prevented from putting it on the ground and entering it into bathroom because the name of god is written in it. I think that it has a simple form, but it has a great meaning.
